It turns into a really butt ugly color, but when you heat it up a tad, the ugly goes away and you're left with the color of the sky, straight up at high noon. Just the most awesome blue you ever saw. I'm just totally in love with them. The stone measures 18x13mm, and weighs in the neighborhood of a huge 15 carats. The mounting is a very pretty with lots of weight. It's a good, solid mounting; 5.7 grams, and very sturdy. This ring just "feels" good, and look great! ________________________________________________________________________ BTW, Since we make this from scratch after you order it, we have a lot of flexibility. We can cast this in yellow, white or rose gold, and in any of 10k, 14k, or 18k.
