Style 2205 sewing pattern. This 1978 Style vintage pattern, by Simplicity Patterns, will make a Misses' Dress in a sizes 16 (Eur. 42). Parts of the pattern have been cut out and some of these have been modified by cutting, adding paper and taping. See the pattern inventory below.

MISSES' DRESS:
Dress with back zipper closure has front shoulder tucks, and the lowered neckline is finished with bias-cut neck tie with extending ends. The flared, four-gore skirt is attached to "eased" bodice at waistline seam. The set-in sleeves are long and gathered into buttoned cuffs for View 1, and short, flared and bias-cut for View 2. View 3 is sleeveless. All views are worn with purchased belt.

SUGGESTED FABRICS:
Cotton, lawn, rayon, cheesecloth, crepe, shantung, silk, crepe de chine, surah, pongee, silk twill, fine jersey and synthetics. View 1 and 2 also in wool/cotton blends, wool crepe and wool georgette. Extra fabric is needed to match plaids, stripes and one-way designs. Use nap fabric requirements and nap layouts for one-way design fabrics.

TO COMPLETE GARMENT:
Thread, 22" zipper, purchased bell. View 1: Two 5/8" buttons.
