Style 1493 Ca. 1976. Sewing Pattern. Men’s Waistcoat & Bell Bottom Trousers (Pants) in a size 40. The pattern pieces for the Waistcoat are uncut, the pieces for the trousers have been cut out.

Style 1493
MEN’S WAISTCOAT AND TROUSERS: Panelled waistcoat with yoke has front stud fastening, pockets, back strap with buckle and top-stitched trim. Trousers with fly front zipper have back yoke, waistband with stud fastening, self fabric belt carriers, side pockets and top-stitched trim.

Suggested fabrics - Firm cotton, denim, brushed denim, sailcloth and needlecord. Extra fabric is needed to match plaids, stripes and one-way designs. Use nap fabric requirements and nap layouts for one-way design fabrics.

To complete garment - Thread. Waistcoat: Five 1cm (3/8”) studs, 2.5cm (1”) buckle without prong. Trousers: 15cm (6”) zipper, one 1 cm(3/8”) stud, straight seam binding.

The pattern pieces for the Waistcoat are uncut; the pieces for the trousers have been cut out. All the pieces are in good condition. The envelope is in fair condition with a small rip to the rear and a price has been written on the front. The flap is missing. (See pictures).

The envelope measures: 8-1/4 X 5-3/8 X 1/2 inches (21.2 X 13.7 x 1.5 cm)
The pattern package weighs 1-3/4 ounces (50 gr). Shipping weight will be 80 grams.

That is why I take the time to inventory every piece of the pattern. I give you an accurate list of what is in the package, no surprises. And I will state in the listing if any pieces are missing. Also, whenever possible, I show pictures of the front & rear of the pattern envelope, the actual pattern pieces, the cutting guide and the size chart. The suggested materials and notion lists are also supplied in my listings.

Please Note that I ship patterns via Canada Post letter mail, in a plain envelope and the listed postage is for that method. My Patterns are stored in a plastic storage bags and they are shipped in the same bag (if weight allows) placed inside of a standard envelope. If you require any other packaging/shipping please let me know prior to paying for the item.

Of course, as always, I combine shipping and all stated postage includes free insurance.
