Stamped 14K solid yellow Gold MOP cameo pin, brooch or pendant, Fine jewelry

Exquisite Vintage Mother-of-Pearl cameo depicting a woman profile turned right with abundant hair flowing down her shoulders. It can be used as a pin/brooch or as a pendant.

This lovely Mother of Pearl is characterized by a luminescent white and grey color. Photos have been taken under different light and with different cameras to show the various shades of light. The luster is extremely good with some light pinkish hue, and the nacre is thick and perfect.  In short, the stone is perfect with no downside   The cameo head is finely carved and the face is flawless.  The  stature is one of elegance and feminine daintiness.  Nice incrustation.  More photos are available upon request.

The cameo is set in a  14K solid gold (not plated nor filled), open back, nice  setting  enhanced with a rope edge. It is  stamped with several "14K" marks on the base of the setting.

The oval cameo measures 1 3/4 inches long  by just over 1 3/8 inches wide.

We date this beautiful cameo to the late retro period, i.e., 1940's
It is in perfect condition.
