This item:  A PRIME COLLECTABLE. An original painting in acrylics for a UK Quad poster for Hammer's latest Dracula movie; this is a detailed pre-production item, consequently much more salacious than what finally emerged as the Quad image; the Dracula image is very similar to the image used in the earlier Quad for Dracula Has Risen From the Grave and the image is from an adaptation of Chantrell himself posing as Dracula. Signed by Chantrell. Tom Chantrell (1916 - 2001) was, of course, a pre-eminent artist for British Quad posters and as such is highly collectable. Interestingly, this is the artwork used for the Argentinian poster for this movie. The item is on board with a glassine cover for protection (see 1st - 2nd photos). I have included a photo of Chantrell with two pieces of his artwork including this piece.  Such pieces are rare / unique.  A great item for the collector and would look stunning framed.  Unique one off

Condition: (Range from Fine – Very Good – Good – Poor with ++ to - - for further differentiation) :  Fine - / Very Good ++   -:   very good corners and edges with light wear; overall a very good copy of a rare collectable.   Light reflections on the left of some images are from a window and NOT on the original which is of consistent colour density.
