PolarPro P3001 Overview

Improve the quality of your aerial GoPro footage with the Frame2.0-FPV Quadcopter Filter 3-Pack from Polar Pro. The pack includes a polarizer filer, 2-stop neutral density filter, and 3-stop neutral density filter compatible with a naked GoPro HERO3, HERO3+, or HERO4 camera. Offering varying degrees of light reduction, the filters are useful for slowing down the GoPro's shutter speed, resulting in smoother looking motion and helping to reduce to appearance of rolling shutter. The filters all feature glass lenses for optimal image quality and scratch resistance, a low profile design, and are lightweight at only 0.24 ounces for use with most motorized gimbal systems.

Polarizer Filter
The polarizer filter helps to reduce glare and improve color saturation. When filming from a quadcopter, a large amount of light is reflected back up towards the camera. The polarizer reduces the amount of glare bouncing off the ground. It can also be used to slow down the cameras shutter speed by reducing light by 1.6 stops.
2-Stop Neutral Density
The 2-stop ND filter reduces light hitting the sensor by two stops, which slows down the GoPro's shutter speed. This creates a more natural looking motion blur that smooths out quadcopter footage and helps reduce the appearance of "jello" effects from the camera's rolling shutter. The 2-Stop ND filter is also used for reducing lens flare while shooting into the sun and for toning down highlights while filming outdoors. The 2-Stop ND filter is particularly useful when it is partly cloudy, or during the early morning, or evening hours. It can also be used to slow down the shutter speed while shooting in Night Mode on the HERO4 for more balance exposures.
3-Stop Neutral Density
The 3-Stop ND filter is designed for filming in very bright conditions. This ND filter reduces light hitting the sensor by three stops for creating motion blur and smoothing out smooth out high vibration quadcopter footage. The 3-stop ND filter is ideal when filming during the middle of a sunny day, or to drop the shutter speed to create a high speed motion blur effect.
