Metlox Ceramic Tom and Jerry Set Vintage ca. 1950
Tom and Jerry tureen with lid, and ten matching mugs of various pastel colors, assembled by a collector
Manufactured by Metlox Pottery, located in Manhatten Beach, California, which opened in 1927 and closed in 1989
All pieces are In excellent used condition
The tureen is 8 inches high (including the lid), and approximately 8 inches wide
All pieces have "Tom .. Jerry" embossed on one side
The mugs are 2½ inches high, and 4 inches wide including the handles
Five mugs have "Metlox" and "Made in U.S.A." on the bottom
Two of the mugs have "Poppytrail" (one of the company's brands), the number "255", and "Made in U.S.A." molded into the bottom
One mug has only "Made in U.S.A."
Two mugs have no markings
The shipping charge includes insurance
