Cover by Dave Cockrum After narrowly escaping from Tranquility Base in New Mexico, a semi-conscious wall-crawler rockets into outer space on a spaceship rapidly leaking oxygen! But a celestial Good Samaritan saves him and takes the web-slinger to the blue area of the moon. Spider-Man and Adam Warlock are having a pleasant conversation when all of a sudden the Stranger attacks! What does the cosmic giant want from Warlock? And is there another cosmic being on the moon to help the two heroes battle the Stranger? Cameo appearances by the Hulk and Woodgod. (Notes: The letters page includes a letter from comics cartoonist Fred Hembeck. The mysterious silver egg on the final panel appears again in Iron Man 109. |
