- Comments: Oliver Cromwell (1599-1658) lived in this very house in Ely. Cromwell of course kick started the present system of Parliament. He was Lord Protector (1653-1658) after King Charles I was executed. This leaflet tells you what you can see there and lists four activities: 1) A Function Room, 2) An Escape Room, 3) Murder Mystery Evenings, and 4) Ghost Hunting. A route map on how to get there and a map of Ely are on the back cover of the leaflet. The leaflet has a parchment like background effect to it as you can see in the blank areas in the images.
