This is a hand painted rare Japanese ceramic circa 1920's-1930's. Originally may have been made as a pin cushion holder, this was utilised from the 1960's as a cigarette holder/ stand into which cigarettes would have been placed temporarily when lit. Unfortunately, one of the feet is chipped (see photo). Still highly collectable. Postage available to any location in the world from trusted seller - selling successfully online since 2011.
