Hartley Wintney is a large village and civil parish in the English county of Hampshire.

Hartley Wintney is in the Hart district of North-East Hampshire. The parish includes the adjoining sub-village of Phoenix Green to the south and surrounding hamlets of Dipley, West Green, Elvetham and Hartfordbridge, as well as large wooded areas such as Yateley Heath Wood and part of Hazeley Heath. The River Hart flows to the northeast of the village. The River Whitewater forms the western parish boundary and the M3 motorway forms the southern boundary.

The village has a typical wide Hampshire main street, lined with local businesses, shops, public houses and a Baptist church. It is particularly well known for a proliferation of good antique shops. At the southern end is the village green and duckpond (with thatched duck house). The red-brick parish church of St John overlooks the green and the elegant Mildmay oak trees beyond. The oaks were planted by Lady St John Mildmay in response to the call, in 1807, by Admiral Collingwood following the Battle of Trafalgar for landowners to plant oaks to provide timber for naval ships. The cricket green, home of the oldest cricket club in Hampshire, is behind the shops adjoining a second picturesque duckpond and Dutch-gabled farmhouse.

In 1831, the village (excluding Elvetham and Hartfordbridge) had a population of 1139. In 2004, the ward had a population of 4954. The village is twinned with Saint-Savin near Poitiers, France and with Malle, famous for its Trappist beer, near Antwerp in Belgium.^[1]

Hartley Row is a former hamlet within Hartley Wintney.^[2]

Elvetham Heath is a residential area and civil parish, containing 1,868 residences,^{[citation needed]} on a 311 acres (126 ha) site, just outside the north western boundary of the town of Fleet in the English county of Hampshire.

Elvetham Heath was built on reclaimed pine plantation/heathland between the M3 motorway and the London-Southampton railway line, 2 miles (3.2 km) north of Fleet town centre. Formerly known as Railroad Heath, it previously belonged to the local Calthorpe Estate. Construction finished on the development in June 2008.

Elvetham Heath serves as a commuter area to local towns; Basingstoke some 12 miles (19 km) to the west, Reading is 16 miles (26 km) to the north and London is 37 miles (60 km) to the northeast. The development is located precisely midway between Southampton and London. It is adjacent to the M3 motorway, 12 miles (19 km) from the M4, and 14 miles (23 km) from the M25. Fleet railway station is approximately 1.2 miles (1.9 km) from the centre of the development.
