Interesting set of two coins in real circulation with Athens tetradrachm (500-320 BCE) in nice condition of the first type with the phallic style of Northern countries on the map (2002-2006), see Introduction in online catalog "Varieties of Euro Coins" eucoins.byethost9.com/intro.html for details. For request of a lot of coins for the first year of the currency reform it became necessary to produce additional coins at other mints. In 2002 1 euro coins were produced in Athens and in Vantaa (Finland). They are distinguished by the bottom star on the Obv.: it was left plain in Athens and bears letter "S" in Finland ("S" states for Suomi, the name of country in Finnish). These two coins are from Finland. On the image the top one shows thin details to the left of the owl and the thick top of "S" in the star. The lower coin vice versa shows bold details to the left of owl and thin top of "S". Additionally there is a circle in feathers on owl's head next to the olive leaf, shown by arrow on enlargement. The lower coin is met essentially less frequent than the top one.
