Seller's Description
Dell PERC H200 Dual Port SAS/SATA Host Bus Adapter RAID Controller based on the LSI2008 chipset.
Can be cross-flashed to LSI 9211-i8 IT mode for better compatibility with ZFS systems such as FreeNAS / TrueNAS.
IR mode enables the software RAID function.
IT mode disables the software RAID cuntion.
The ROM / BIOS can be installed or left uninstalled; it's the management software/interface that can be loaded during boot up.
For systems like FreeNAS/TrueNAS, a dumb HBA (IT mode without BIOS/ROM) is the most common choice.
By default the adapter comes with the stock Dell firmware and BIOS/ROM.
If need another type or version of firmware installed before shipment, please contact during checkout or after order.
