Our Created Blue Sapphire is molecularly the same as the stuff that comes from the ground, but tons cleaner and with a lot better color. Oh, and it's affordable. If you happen to want one that's real, and of similar quality, I can get it for you, but it'll run at least $3,000 extra. 'Nuff said. This is a simple ring, more about the stone than the ring. At SylvaRocks, all of our Sterling Silver is made with a state of the art alloy which modifies the traditional Sterling Silver alloy (92.5% silver + 7.5% copper) by replacing some of the copper with the metalloid Germanium. Adding Germanium to the Sterling Silver results in a highly tarnish resistant silver. Since the resulting metal is still 92.5% pure silver, is still qualifies as Sterling Silver -- just better.
