Butterick 3598 “Extra Quick and Easy” Sewing Pattern: Misses One-Piece A-Line Dress. Ca. 1965 (I think, as there is no actual date on this pattern. 1965 is my best guess).

Most of the pattern pieces have been cut out already. Please see “The Pattern Inventory” below for a list of what has and has not been cut out yet.

ONE-PIECE DRESS Semi-fitted, slightly A-line dress with shallow neckline. (A) Sleeveless, narrow, self collar. (B) Short sleeves, collarless.

NOTIONS NEEDED - Thread. Seam Binding (Optional). Hook and Eye. 20 INCH NECKLINE TYPE ZIPPER

SUGGESTED FABRICS - Cottons, Piques, Synthetic Blends, Linens.
EXTRA FABRIC IS REQUIRED FOR MATCHING STRIPES OR PLAIDS. Do not use fabric with a diagonal stripe or a decided diagonal weave.

Lower Edge Measurement: Size 14 - 48 Ins.

The envelope Measures approximately 8½ X 5¼ X ¼ inches (21.8 X 13.5 X 0.7 cm) and weighs approximately 0.9 ounces (25 grams) Shipping weight will be 55 grams in a 27 X 19 X 1 cm envelope.

The pattern pieces are in good used condition. The instructions have 3 rips in them, 1 to 3 inches long. The envelope has a small rips to the top, front as well as a rip in the rear, that had been taped many years ago but the tape has since fallen off. The instruction sheet and envelope have been written on. (see Pictures).

Don't you just hate it when you buy a pattern and there is a piece missing, or some pieces are cut to a smaller size then listed or worse yet some of the enclosed pieces are not even for the pattern you bought?

Also, whenever possible, I show pictures of the front & rear of the pattern envelope, the Cutting guide and the size chart. The suggested materials and notion lists are also supplied in my listings.

Please Note that I ship patterns via Canada Post letter mail, in a plain envelope and the listed postage is for that method. My Patterns are stored in a plastic storage bags and they are shipped in the same bag (if weight allows) placed inside of a standard envelope. If you require any other packaging/shipping please let me know prior to paying for the item.

Of course, as always, I combine shipping and all stated postage includes free insurance.
