This item:    An original release set of 8 UK Front of House /  Lobby cards for this vampire movie from the pen of Hammer's Jimmy Sangster; although no conventional vampire is to be seen Donald Wolfit's Callistratus is made to look very Bela Lugosi like as the 'scientific' vampire utilizing the blood of inmates; some great images, especially of Victor Maddern's deformed Carl. An early performance of Hammer beauty, Barbara Shelley (a delight to meet in real life).  Very Scarce / Rare

Stars:             Donald Wolfit, Vincent Ball (mis-itentified as 'Vincent Price' on one of these cards with a printer error - hence a rarity; other cards have the corrected sticker of Vincent Ball, the Australian actor); Barbara Shelley, Victor Maddern, Bernard Bresslaw.

Size:             8.00 x 10.00 inches approx. 

Condition: (Range from Fine – Very Good – Good – Poor with ++ to - - for further differentiation) : Very Good + -:   no pin-holes;  very good corners and edges with some light wear; light surface creasing to a couple of cards; overall, a very good set. (see photos for further detail; feel free to ask for specific detail.) 

POST & PACKAGING: all items are securely packaged, for as a collector myself I appreciated the need for secure packaging and all materials used are new.
