Seller's Description
Vintage Nujol Mineral Oil Pint Bottle 1915 to 1923
This is a clear glass bottle, with "NUJOL" embossed on one side.
The only other embossing is the number "4" and the letter "H" on the bottom.
The bottle is clean and in great condition. No chips, cracks or scratches.
5½ inches tall, 4 inches wide, and 2¼ inches deep. Holds 8 ounces.
This has the original snap-on metal cap. The cap is very rusty, and the cork liner has deteriorated.
There are quite a few air bubbles and a couple of streaks that look like the glass flowed during manufacturing.
I was able to date this. Standard Oil began selling Nujol in 1915 and the bottles for the product were made by Diamond Glass after 1923. This does not have the Diamond Glass trademark on the bottom.
