Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Tim Duncan Hoop Stars 2001. This is a vintage preowned Hallmark Keepsake Ornament from their Collector's Series "Hoop Stars". This is the 7th ornament in the series. by Artist Duane Unruh
Tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs. At Wake Forest University, this former St. Croix championship swimmer switched sports and became a basketball standout. Tim Duncan graduated with a degree in psychology in 1997 and joined the San Antonio Spurs for the 1997-1998 season. The seven-foot forward immediately turned the Spurs into a title contender and earned NBA Rookie of the Year honors. He was only the ninth rookie ever named to the All NBA First Team. The following season (1998-99), Duncan helped the Spurs become NBA Champions and was named MVP of the NBA Finals. Although the Spurs were eliminated in the 1999-2000 NBA Playoffs, Duncan was still tapped for the NBA All-Defensive First Team and was named co-MVP of the 2000 NBA All-Star Game.
Comes in the original box and with a gold scroll hook. In excellent to new condition. Measure 7 1/8" tall x 2" wide
