Issued to commemorate the Republic of Texas Sesquicentennial 1836-1986

The 22 cent stamp shows a spur, a star, and "San Jacinto 1896"

No address on the envelope, the envelope is sealed and appears to be empty

The envelope has "Official First Day of Issue", a picture of the battle at the Alamo, and "Remember the Alamo"
