"We, The Warwick Machinery Company, Limited, of 83 Cannon Street, in the City of London, Engineers and Manufacturers, do hereby declare the nature of this invention (a communication from the General Electric Company, of Schenectady, County of Schenectady, State of New York, United States of America, Electrical Engineers) to be as follows: The object of the present invention is to improve the construction of an elastic fluid turbine and particularly the wheel carrying the moving vanes, whereby strength, lightness and low cost of manufacture are secured.."
