Seller's Description
A near-mint, Becky Thatcher Book Shop card #40388-C with no writing or mailing. Reading on the reverse:
"During his last visit to Hannibal, in 1902, Mark Twain posed in front of his boyhood home - the one that figured in 'The Adventures of Tom Sawyer'. He said that each time he came back to house seemed to grow smaller than his memory of it - that if he came back often enough it would look like a doll house. The house is still there, the property of the City of Hannibal. It is well preserved and admission to it is free."
