Seller's Description

This is a postcard showing yachts on the Clyde River, Scotland, UK.  The caption identifies the vessels as 'Navara' (see more details here) and 'Nyachitwa'.   The latter was built by the Fairlie yard in 1952, to a design influenced by William Fife, and by the 1980s was to be found sailing on the east coast of the USA.  The card was published by Dixons and posted in 1964.

The card is in fair condition, with minor wear to the corners and edges, and some marks.  It is 145mm x 97mm.
