PMCO 428 Tail Brake Light with Illuminator for Bus Trailer RV Motorcycle Rat Rod

Item: A rear brake light assembly with an illuminator lens for various applications.
Manufacturer: PMCO.
Condition: Used, good condition.
-The Good: The light is in overall good condition. The lens and the assembly do not have any cracks. The internal components are present and there is some wire still present that will make splicing easy. This light features a clear lens on the bottom for illumination or possibly a reverse light.
-The Bad: The part is dirty from storage and should be cleaned before installation. There is corrosion on the bracket the bulb is in. The bulb is present, but I don’t know if it works or not. I’d assume that it needs to be replaced. There is a little chip in the lens at the bottom. The tips of the copper wires are slightly oxidized.
Measurements: Red lens diameter is about 3.75”, housing is about 2.75” deep, and the diameter at the back of the housing is about “3.
Other Information: I have seen this kind of light used on school busses, motorcycles, and trailers, but it may be useable on an RV, truck, car, or would be a neat part to install on a rat rod. Part number on the red lens is SAE-IST-75 DOT 420-15. Housing part number is DOT IST 96. Part number on the clear lens is DOT L 96 and 4 428 161. Please be sure this is the correct part you need before purchasing. A nice part to replace your broken, worn, or missing part!
