Birdcage Records is a full-service, mail order, independent label music distributor. Well known for launching the career of the world-infamous Dread Zeppelin, Birdcage has also released groundbreaking indi titles by Wall Of Voodoo mastermind, Stan Ridgway, The Prime Movers, Ron Asheton of Iggy & The Stooges (our Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame member!), The Johnette Napolitano-produced In Vivo and The Mystery Band made up of former members of Captain Beefheart's Magic Band.
Always on the search for the unique and offbeat, Birdcage also sells hard to find CD titles like "Secret Sessions," an aborted seventies supergroup that featured Ian Hunter, Mick Ronson, Eric Clapton, Todd Rundgren and members of Mountain. Fool's Gold by Dan Fogelberg's backup band produced by Joe Walsh, Don Felder and Glen Frey... The Eagles. Also rare titles by Bob Weir of The Grateful Dead, Madonna, The Band, Townes Van Zandt, Iggy Pop and many others
