INTERNATIONAL POSTAGE

More detailed listing information.

Weight, location, and size are the main cost factors of postage, I will adjust your invoice and apply discounts if any before you make payment, it will show the correct postage cost for your location and type of purchase/s.

Postage is only charged once per invoice, postage cannot be refunded if purchases are paid before I send an invoice and include postage discounts.

International postage cost as of 03-07-2023 and will apply from that date. 

(Packing needs to be taken into account with weight and size.)

DL business-size envelope, 220 x 110mm up to 250g, for limited quantities and small items only; 

UK & EUROPE $3.90, U.S & CANADA. $3.70, ASIA-PACIFIC $3.10, NEW ZEALAND $2.70, OTHER COUNTRIES $4.30.

For slightly larger and/or slightly heavier items, 222 x 160mm;  up to 500g, ALL 14.40, ex NEW ZEALAND $9.30 and OTHER COUNTRIES $15.50. A postage label is used on large sendings.

Anything larger or heavier will not be considered.

Delivery times vary but for North America and Europe, it averages at 20 - 25 days.

Payment is with Paypal.

AUSTRALIA POSTAGE

Domestic postage details and costs effective 03/04/2024.

Regular Postage Costs as of 03-04-2024; are $1.50 for single or combined small lightweight items, or $3.00 and $4.50 for larger and/or heavier lots.

Registered Post; is available at cost,  $4.85 plus postage, and extra Insurance if required at cost, needs to be requested before making payment so I can adjust your invoice. 

Tracking Post Envelope; is also available upon request at cost,  $4.20 small, and $6.10 medium which includes postage, and needs to be requested before making payment so I can adjust your invoice.  These are prepaid and stamps are not used.

Priority Label; is also available for regular postage lots and costs 90 cents, needs to be requested before making payment so I can adjust your invoice. My experience using these recently is that it shortens interstate delivery times by about 2 days.

I do not keep buyer's information, either on my computer or anywhere else, emails with your details are deleted soon after I receive them so be sure your address details are correct on Paypal, and eBid, as this is where I obtain them if required.

Multiple Listing of the same item; when there is more than one available, the item/s shown are what you are buying, when sold I will change the scan/s to show the next available if there is any difference to the previous item sold (Postmarks, etc.).

After Sale Log (ASL); For the buyer to view, details such as Feedback, shipping details, tracking info if applicable, questions asked, etc., will be made available on your item/s purchased listing page as soon as possible after the sale completion (just select an item purchased to view).

Combining lots for your daily purchases is never a problem but you need to request an invoice when you finish making your purchases so I can add discounts and adjust the postage cost for your location, just go to your items purchased and click on the drop-down at right. I will send an invoice if you haven't requested one, let me know should you need more time to make your selections and I will cancel it.

I usually post within one business day of receiving payment.

Description of items 

The item's condition can sometimes be difficult to describe as we all have our own opinions, I prefer to let the buyer make up his or her mind by including several scan/s/picture/s to view, and I will try to mention any hard-to-see faults (if any).

Refunds; Should your item not be as described please let me know (my contact details are below), Credit or exchange is available for a valid claim, buyer satisfaction is most important.    

Used Stamps: Unless otherwise stated stamps graded used are usually commercially used.

Modern-used Australian stamps

All recently issued stamps are scarce and getting scarcer because fewer people are posting and many use labels printed online. Recent stamps 'Canceled to Order' (CTO) The postmark for these is applied with a laser and is perfect every time.

All self-adhesive stamps issued since 2016 have security measures to prevent re-use hence removing used examples from paper can be a considerable challenge and many of those that survive are damaged. Many sellers offer used examples on paper, avoid these. Undamaged off-paper examples attract much higher prices, and those with a good postmark and fine condition command a premium. It's the modern used self-adhesive issues that will be the great rarities soon but avoid those 'On Paper'.

Used sheet perforation stamps are also a good item, fewer of these are printed and sold, however, they are easier to remove from paper so more survive, look for a nice postmark and avoid ones with a messy machine cancel if possible.

Mint issues are usually available from Australia Post for a few months after the issue release and these too can be scarce, with fewer collectors, and the occasional issue that slips past unnoticed by dealers and collectors alike, and it does happen quite often.​
