Some Information About Touchwood123

Giving you a little more insight into the seller.

 

 I'm lucky to live in a beautiful part of South Wales with my Hubbie, 2 rescue dogs, 2 rescue moggies, a couple of geese and an assortment of chickens. 

 I've spent many years teaching pottery and crafts in an adult day centre, this combined with running a home didn’t leave much spare time to try out many of my own ideas. I now have a bit more time on my hands and for the first time am enjoying doing a bit of my own thing, some of the results you can see here.

All the driftwood is collected on a local beach while walking the dogs and the other wood come's from local sustainable sources.

I'm a fanatical recycler and get a real buzz from finding new uses for otherwise unwanted things. So when you buy anything from my site you can be sure that you are doing your bit as well.

I hope that you like my things and hopefully make an occassional bid. Please keep an eye on my site as I've got lots of ideas that I'll be adding in the future as well as items collected over the years that need a bit of a clear out.

P.S. The toad and "touchwood" has stuck since childhood - remember Catweazle (Showing my age now)

 

PAYMENT, POSTAGE & RETURNS INFO

(Please note that by bidding you are accepting my terms and conditions and that all sales are final so please ask any questions before bidding)

PAYMENT     

 I accept payment by:

  • Bank Transfer (BACS) - preferred payment method as there are no fees for transactions. 
  • Cheque – these can take 5-9 days to
  • PayPal - no fees for buyers.  Note: If you send a PayPal E-Cheque please be aware that it can be up to 9 working days before it clears which means mailing out your item will be delayed.
  • Postal Order - classed as cleared funds. Crossed postal orders take between 4-5 working days for clearance.
  • Cash at the buyers own risk (UK only)
Please contact me if payment is likely to be longer than 7 days as I reserve the right to re-auction items where payment is not received within this time. 

POSTAGE

Postage costs include, packaging, travel etc.

I am willing to combine postage costs wherever possible, but please wait for an invoice with combined amounts before sending payment for multiple purchases.

Items will be despatched within 3-5 working days of payment clearing. In order to reduce costs and waste, wherever possible items will be safely packed in recycled material and unless stated sent Royal Mail 2nd Class with proof of postage. I am happy to send 1st Class, Recorded etc if you require but please contact me BEFORE making payment so that I can adjust invoice for extra cost.

I am willing to help in any way to resolve problems with goods lost or damaged by Royal Mail. I will claim in full from the Post Office and only refund customer if and when the claim has been settled. 

RETURNS

In the unlikely event that you feel you need to return an item the following applies:

I can only accept returns if the item is damaged or not as described so please read the description closely before bidding.

 If you wish to return an item please email me to discuss and confirm that the return will be accepted.

Requests for a refund will NOT be accepted unless made within seven days of buyer receiving the item.

Once a refund is mutually agreed the buyer must return the item within seven days (at buyer’s expense) and in its original condition before the refund can be given. No refund will be issued for items returned without prior agreement.   

FEEDBACK

Please leave feedback as soon as you receive and are happy with your item.    We are all human, and sometimes mistakes do happen.  In the unlikely event that you have a problem email me before leaving feedback and we will try to resolve it.
