My wife and I are downsizing and disposing of all our collections of books, ephemera, postcards and stamps. I aim to add things almost daily. I hope you can find something on our Ebid site that you like, then you can get a bargain for yourself and help us in our mission to reclaim space in our apartment.
Our favoured subjects have been Africa, especially southern Africa, Cornwall and the West Country, Youth Organisations, especially Guides and Scouts, Military matters, and Sport. Over the years we have also collected a lot of Shire books, especially the Album and Discovering Series.
I accept PayPal and British postal orders from all buyers. Please tell me if you are sending postal orders, so I don't assume you are a late payer.
I post everything by Royal Mail first class or airmail. I am happy to combine items to save on the postage if I can but sometimes it is cheaper to send several small parcels than one big one. If you are buying several items, please wait for an invoice with the revised postage before paying.
I am happy to post to Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, NewZealand and Japan by Royal Mail airmal. The British Royal Mail has different postage rates to different regions of the world. You can email me, telling me where you are, and I will tell you the postage for that item to you if it is different to the price quoted on the listing. Once the item has been posted by me, you are responsible for any duties or taxes levied in your country. I WILL NOT post to South America, China, Russia, Eastern Europe, or Africa.
All our pictures are scans or photographs of the actual items I am selling. I try to describe everything as accurately as possible, including anything that doesn't show in the picture. But if you think the item I have sent is not as described, please contact me so we can reach a solution. If you are still not happy you can return the item receive a full refund of the cash you initially paid, pyment of the return postage is at my discretion.
