The film has been described as an essay of what makes a « femme objet ». In this film Lelouch toys with the "Mondo" genre. As a starting point, Lelouch presents female spectacle across the world. We witness prenatal exercises, a child birth, striptease sequences and scenes with transvestites and transsexuals. Filmed in black and white, the film was banned in France in its initial release. At the end of the film we are presented with a young woman dressed in a wedding gown atop the Eiffel Tower who attempts to kill herself. Lelouch destroyed the negative himself a short while later.
