DESCRIPTION:
French hallmarked, beautifully crafted 18K solid gold, 850 silver and, at least, 2.5 carat weight of luminous and dazzling diamonds many of which are old mine cut. For sure, this bracelet will quickly become the preferred choice of all the fine bracelets in your jewelry box. It is gorgeous, comfortable to wear, versatile and in excellent condition.
Made out of top quality material, and crafted at the beginning of the twentieth century, the central pattern is covered with old European cut diamonds bordered with two rows of rose cut diamonds articulated around a festoon design.
The festoon border consists of 26 rose-cut diamonds ranging between 2mm and 3.5mm.
The central motif comprises 4 bezel roses measuring 2mm to 4mm. It also includes 5 prong set old European cut diamonds ranging from 1.5mm to 3.8mm. Diamonds are well matched, very good clarity and J-K color.
The bracelet features a security chain and is in perfect condition in spite of the fact that it is over 100 year old. It is fully hallmarked

*Information on gold jewelry:
- 24K gold is pure gold. (it is not really used in jewellery because it is too soft and not practical for daily wear.)
-18K gold contains 18 parts gold and 6 parts of one or more additional metals, making it 75% gold. This level of fineness is used extensively in French and Italian jewelry and in most quality pieces)
-14K gold contains 14 parts gold and 10 parts of one or more additional metals, making it 58.3% gold. (It is used extensively in the US)
-12K gold contains 12 parts gold and 12 parts of one or more additional metals, making it 50% gold.
-10K gold contains 10 parts gold and 14 parts of one or more additional metals, making it 41.7% gold. 10K gold is the minimum standard that can be called "gold" in the United States.
Antique jewelry and rare items often contain the lower level of fineness, but their value is based on a myriad of other factors.
