Dendritic Opal: Faceted Oval; Black Dendrites in Light Golden Opal; 3.76 cts

This is an interesting opal variety, with black dendrites (branching, tree or shrublike formations) floating in the translucent opal. The opal varies between golden and white shades. There are some small veils (dendritic formations usually only form along veils or exterior surfaces) visible from some angles. This stone should fit into most premade 12 x 10 prong settings. Opal is the traditional birthstone for people born in the month of October.
