This auction is for a Cotswoldsport Flexi 4 Ring Gag Bit This bit provides excellent flexibility and brakes, but with the benefit of a lozenge to ergnomically fit your horse's mouth. No more pinching, nutcraker action or stabbing in the roof of the mouth which is commonly caused by using a single joint. The bit can be used with one or two reins and with roundings. An american curb can also be added to provide extra brakes where needed. The lozenge eliminates any nutcraker action and is ergonomic in the horse's mouth The synthetic material of this bit is manufactured as an apple mouth, (but it doesn't appear to smell of apple). This is slightly softer to the touch than a Happy mouth, but not quite as nice as an expensive nathe bit. This bit has a stainless steel core, so is very safe and is unable to snap in the mouth. However like all synthetic bits, they can be chewed. The mouthpeice on this bit is 18mm.
