Issued by the National Wildlife Federation in 1979

Painted and signed by Charles Ripper, one of  America’s most famous wildlife artists.  His paintings have been used on over 575 NWF stamps, more than 50 U.S. postage stamps, over 100 magazine covers, and as illustrations for more than 25 books.
