For sale is a Poor (1) 1949 Bowman Card # 83A featuring Bob Scheffing of the Chicago Cubs.
This is Bob’s Rookie Card.
This variation card has Bob’s name printed on the backside; the other card has his name bottom front.
Pictures are of the actual card; Corners are rounded / frayed; Surface wear, scuffing, scratches & printing blemishes; Stains on front & backside due to age / handling possible foreign substance; Several light creases / wrinkles, some show through the backside; Chipping / notching along borders; Borders are off-white due to age / handling / stains; Card is slightly off-center on the front; Discoloration on backside due to age / handling.
Great card to serve as a place holder or an upgrade for those collecting the set.
