Original 1947 Belgian 18 inch x 14 1/2 inch Poster for the 1944 Fritz Lang Film Noir WOMAN IN THE WINDOW, based on the novel by J.H. Wallis and starring Edward G. Robinson, Joan Bennett, Raymond Massey, Edmund Breon and Dan Duryea.
Gentle professor Robinson is lonely in New York when his wife and children go on holiday, so he becomes embroiled with beautiful Bennettwhom he has seen in a painting. She invites him to her apartment and suddenly in rushes her angry lover who tries to strangle him, but Robinson kills him in self defence. Enter blackmailing Duryea...
The poster is in very good folded condition with corner pinholes. It is printed on the reverse of a wartime map of Germany. As with many vintage Belgian posters the top border has been trimmed off.
