Seller's Description

Original 10 inch x 8 1/8 inch Still of JAMES BOOTH & BARBARA WINDSOR for the 1963 Joan Littlewood Comedy Drama SPARROWS CAN’T SING, based upon the stage play by Stephen Lewis.

Littlewood brings her Stratford East stage hit to the screen with all its sparkle and enthusiasm intact. Enjoyable slice of cockney life, set in Stepney, where sailor Booth returns to find his wife (Windsor) has run off with a bus driver.

The still is in very good condition with a credit list tacked to the reverse.
