Printed hand-tinted postcard showing a view of a young shepherd and a girl, both wearing the traditional costume of the Canton of Bern in Switzerland.

Published by T. Pfaff, Neuchâtel, No J.P.N. 2454, undivided back.

Postally used on 6 December 1905 with double circle Stockwell cancellation on green halfpenny stamp and sent to Miss E.M. Phillips, Prince Alberts Road, Guernsey and with the purple cachet of "Member No 73 B.I.P.E."

Very good condition, with very slight corner bumps, but slight knock to top left corner.
