Original British 10 inch x 8 inch Front-of-House Still (Lobby Card) of TADEUSZ JANCZAR & WIENCZYSLAW GLINSKI in the 1957 Andrzej Wajda Polish Wartime Drama KANAL (THEY LOVED LIFE), story and screenplay by Jerzy Stefan Stawinski and starring Teresa Izewska, Tadeusz Janczar, Wienczyslaw Glinski, Tadeusz Gwiazdowski, Stanislaw Mikulski, Emil Karewicz and Vladek Sheybal.
In 1944, during the Warsaw uprising against the Nazis, Polish Lieutenant Zadra and his resistance fighters use Warsaw's sewer system to escape the German encirclement.
The still is in very good condition with corner pinholes and a pinhole top and bottom centre.
