Original British 10 inch by 8 inch Front-of-House Still (Lobby Card) for the 1935 Josef von Sternberg Drama CRIME AND PUNISHMENT, based on the novel by Fyodor Dostoyevsky and starring Peter Lorre, Edward Arnold, Marian Marsh, Tala Birell, Elisabeth Risdon, Robert 'Tex' Allen, Douglass Dumbrille, Gene Lockhart, Charles Waldron and Thurston Hall.
The story of a young man tortured by moral doubts who kills an evil, greedy pawnbroker and who suffers a final spiritual awakening through the love of a poor street girl.
The still is in very good condition with 2 pinholes in each corner and 1 pinhole in both side borders.
