"Letters Patent to John Swann Senior of Toll Street, Derby Road, Nottingham...This Invention has for its object improvements in the manufacture of elastic terry web. In the Specification of a former Patent granted to W. E. Jefferson...was described the making in a double shuttle loom an elastic fabric..".
