Seller's Description
This is a postcard showing a view of Royal Navy warships at Aden, now Yemen. A note on the back suggests one of the vessels is the H-class destroyer HMS Hardy, with the 2nd Destroyer Flotilla from the Mediterranean Fleet (more history here). This suggests the image dates from the late 1930s - the ship was of course lost at the Battle of Narvik in 1940.
The card is in fair condition with minor wear to the corners and edges.
