I've been a catfisherman for 50 years and a lapidary hobbyist for 40 years, enjoying the discovery of something beautiful within an old rock. I have been liberating beauty from it's hiding place for so long it's almost an embarassment to admit. Following a life-changing event 10 years ago, I have had the time to learn and practice faceting.
