First, let's start with some history. I'm another refugee from eBay. I sold on there for just slightly more than 10 years and had about 2400 feedback points. In protesting eBay's 4X rate increase for my store listings, I shut down my store and moved to eBid. I sell electronics parts, photographic equipment, records (LP's and 45's), other collectables, and machine tools. I have NEVER had anyone claim that my descriptions were misleading, erroneous, or overgraded. If I sell a record, it will be graded fairly on the Goldmine/DisCoveries scales. If I sell parts, I will list all of the info available including links to current catalog listings on the more pricey items. I treat my customers as I would expect to be treated. I do fully expect my customers to read my listings fully so there are no misunderstandings about shipping times, etc. I don't ship fast, but I do ship well. I’m hoping to be able to supply my new customers on eBid with the right items at the right prices. My normal packaging time is five business days, so I'm not exactly ideal for the "instant gratification" types. On the other hand, when I ship, it gets there intact. In the several thousand shipments I've sent out over the years, one has been listed as damaged, and another one was lost by the USPS.
