4-25-2010: hello to all of you, wherever you may be! here's some background on me.
i had a great childhood and was raised the "right way." that was in the early 1950s. i'm a mom and grandma to two boys and step-grandma to two other boys, so i will be "protected" my entire life! i was born and raised in chicago, but i have been in many places in the world because it delights me most of all to LEARN. when you travel to distant lands, there is much to learn.
else, i am humorous. i even laugh in my sleep. i write on the side, and i hope to get a screenplay out based on some of life's absurdities, even my own!
i am overeducated: certificates and degrees are in a box in my storage locker, since truly, pieces of paper don't make you: you make you via your deeds. i ALWAYS treat others the way i want to be treated. if all of us in the world did that each day, then i would not hear "pray for world peace" at christmas!
which means this, here: ask questions if you don't understand something! no question is stupid, never! happy customers are VERY near and dear to my heart.
i came to eBid as the alternative to eBay: eBay is getting too commercialized, and it's on TV now, to use up some of the fees i pay it! i have a very high reputation ("stars") over there as both a seller and a buyer. (my handle at ebay is different than this one, but asketh and thou might receiveth the name you can hunt me down with, over at eBay).
let me give my good customer service to you. please know that everything i know about an object is in the listing, and if it has a defect, that is pointed out, since it is truthful. therefore, it's the right thing to do. so it's easy: that's what i do.
i am the CEO of a national real estate consultation and brokerage firm. i have had the privilege of helping people make sound estate and [ridemt financial real estate decisions for 27 years now. but i got struck, bodily, in the street, by a hit-and-run driver. that led to nerve injuries, so mostly i make ends meet by sales on the net. that business never was dollars and cents to me: it is only a service business, to PEOPLE. everyone is amazingly different to me, and so very fascinating! when you know what "agency" means, you understand that it should never be $ signs in front of your eyes, but treating your principals better than yourself.
