 Welcome to ANNENPETE'S shop operated by Anne & Peter Armstrong.

We have been trading on a small basis for the past few years, but we now feel that the time is right for us to step up a gear. As a result we have joined Ebid.
We will be adding more stock regularly and we hope to make your on-line experience with us as pleasurable as possible. To that end we have set out below a few of our policies regarding shipping, payment, returns etc. Please take a few moments to read them

BOOK DESCRIPTIONS
We aim to describe all our books as accurately as possible and we use the following statements as a rough guide. If we feel a book requires further description, then we will do so, However, it must be remembered that all our descriptions are subjective.

Used books

Like New:
An apparently unread copy in perfect condition. Dust cover is intact with no tears. There will be no creasing to the spine. Pages are clean and without notation. 

Very Good:
A copy that has been read, but is in excellent condition. Pages are intact and without notation or highlighting. The spine remains undamaged.

Good:
A copy that has been read but remains in clean condition. All pages are intact and the cover is intact (including dust cover, if applicable). The spine may show signs of wear. Pages may include limited notes and highlighting, 

Acceptable:
A readable copy. All pages and the cover are intact (dust cover may be missing). Pages may include considerable notes in pen or highlighter but notes cannot obscure the text.

POSTCARDS

Postcards are as per the description in each listing. If you require further details please email us.                      
 
PAYMENT

WITHIN UK.
We prefer payment to be made via Paypal.
We also accept payment via cheque and postal order. Items will not be forwarded until payment has cleared through our bank.
We will not under any circumstances accept cash through the post
OUTSIDE UK
All payments must be made via Paypal.
We will not accept under any circumstances checks, or money orders drawn on non UK banks. Nor will we accept cash through the post.


POSTAGE & PACKING


All postage is as described in each individual listing. If you require any other service please email us for a quote. It is our intention to post your item within two busines days. If there is likely to be a delay we will contact you to advise you of a new postage date.
We do not attempt to make money from postage.
We are more than happy to offer postage discounts for multiple purchases. Again please contact us for a quote before checkout.
All items will be forwarded in new and unused padded envelopes or in the case of postcards, board backed envelopes, where possible, with our return address clearly visible.
We always retain proof of postage for all items.
We will endeavour to do everything we can to  assist, when an item is deemed by Royalmail, to be lost in the post.
Postage outside Uk
We welcome all customers wherever you are located. However we would advise that all prospective customers from outside the UK, request a shipping quotation to your location BEFORE you checkout.


RETURNS
In line with UK distance selling regulations, we accept returns.
To be elligible for a refund, you must return your item to us in the same condition as you recieved it.
The return must be postmarked within one week of receipt.
Postage charges for returns are borne by the buyer.

FEEDBACK
Accurate feedback for on-line shopping is essential. It gives prospective purchasers an idea how a seller is performing. We will always leave positive feedback for good pruchasers and negative for non-payers who will automatically be reported and blacklisted.
We never purchase on-line without checking the sellers feedback. We expect you to do the same.
We have 100% feedback ratings on both Amazon and eBay.
