Greetings All...

Like so many, I have fled the giant auction site to find a new niche. Most items I offer come from local auctions & estate sales, so watch for some odd & interesting goodies!

Whether buying or selling, my philosophy is simple...it takes two to make a positive transaction.

As a seller, I  pledge to: describe items thoroughly & to the best of my ability, package carefully, ship within one business day of receiving cleared payment, communicate in a positive, polite manner & leave positive feedback as soon as the buyer, my customer, lets me know their package arrived safely & everything is A-OK.

As a buyer, I pledge to: read descriptions thoroughly, scrutinize photos, ask questions if I need clarification on condition, size, etc., abide by any clearly stated terms of sale, pay promptly, notify seller immediately (and before leaving feedback) if there is a problem with the item & leave positive feedback when everything is A-OK.

"Over There" I was area52north & I worked hard for my feedback score. In 1997, I received my one & only negative from a buyer who sent a personal check although the auction clearly stated "money order or cashiers check only". I immediately mailed back her check & politely asked her to send a money order at her convenience. She did so & left negative feedback. At that time, there wasn't a reply option & I did leave her a negative (a brief statement of fact, no name calling, etc.). It is the only negative I've ever left. As a buyer, I've had some disappointments, but never believed the seller to be malicious or fraudulent, maybe just a bit careless.

We're all human & each of us brings unique expectations & experiences to the marketplace. None of us is perfect, but I will always give it my best shot!!
