Some Information About ABookAbout
ABookABout launched an internet presence on Ebay in March of 1999. For almost 9 years, a feedback rating of 99.9% has been maintained with over one thousand positive responses.
Books offered by ABookAbout are accurately described and most are shipped within 24 hours. Abookabout ships from the United States and has shipped to most areas around the globe, including Canada, Australia, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
Packing methods vary, dependant on whether the book is hardcover or paperback, purchase price, location the book is being shipped to, weight and size of book and the shipping method being used. Shipping materials may include one or more of the following: Box, bubble envelope, bubble wrap, enclosure in sealed plastic, cardboard and standard priority envelopes.
International shipping is generally via First Class Air or International Priority. Shipping options within the US are Media Mail, First Class and Priority. In most cases within the US, media mail is used, therefore please allow 10-21 days for your order. If that is not acceptable, please upgrade your shipping to Priority. While we can deliver your order to the post office quite rapidly, once your order is with the post office, we have no control over the delivery date.
Should you select several books, we will combine your shipment when possible. Our shipping charges are not per book, but by package size and weight. Therefore, it is sometimes possible to add an additional small, lightweight book with no increase in shipping! NOTE: In order for the combined shipping rate to be applied, all books must ship to one single address and one single payment should be made.
Payment options are:
United States: Paypal, Money Order or Personal Check to Clear
Canada: Paypal, Canadian Postal Money Order
International: Paypal or well wrapped US Dollars. PLEASE NOTE, we cannot be responsible should your funds become lost in the mail.
We realize that there are books you may wish to acquire that we may not have in stock. Likewise, another party within the United States may have that book but not offer International Shipping. Or, perhaps there are several books within the US you would like, but the individual shipment rate is prohibitive.
Therefore, assisted book shipment is available. Email the book title and edition specifics, along with the name(s) of seller(s) if known and pricing information. Once we have confirmed your selection is available, you will be informed of the total price necessary to forward that order to you. At that time, you may choose to confirm your order with payment via Paypal "Other Services". Once your order has been received within the US, it will be packaged for shipment to you with the appropriate customs forms and you will be notified via email that your order has been shipped.
