No Basic Seller option on registration page.

Have raised this issue before and never got an answer, so another try...

Why is there no option for a basic Seller account on the registration page? The only options are Buyer and Seller+.

A few people have been asking on forums of late why they can't join eBid as a Seller.

Is this a deliberate ploy to push Seller+ for the subscription fees or an error on the registration page?

I take it from the non-response that the reason there is no basic Seller option is to push new sellers to a fee payable option then?

Seems rather shoddy to me.

Hmmm - a very good point there Mel.
We need more sellers to list their goods, and quite a few new 'would-be' sellers to the site are reluctant to fork out the initial outlay (judging by what has previously been posted on the forums)
