Some Information About swbunnycraft

Giving you a little more insight into the seller.

What the heck is a Bunnycraft?

Hi, I'm Bunny (but in real life I go by Lisa Ann!)  Southwest Bunnycraft began as a vendor table at craft shows and fairs in Montgomery County, Maryland (where I'm from) in 1984. I sold mainly Christmas items. I couldn't think of a suitable name for my business so I used an old nickname, "Bunny" added that to what I make, "crafts" and the name Bunnycraft was born. No, I don't do weird things with bunnies or do I sail them on the high seas, as in "Ahoy, here comes the Bunnycraft!" My son, 18 months old when Bunnycraft began, used to call it "Mommy's Beezness", and 29 years later it still is Mommy's business!

As a Park Ranger for the National Park Service, I moved around the country quite a bit, so as I changed locales, I changed the Bunnycraft name to fit the region, hence Bunnycraft became Rocky Mountain Bunnycraft, Southwest Bunnycraft, and eventually Black Hills Bunnycraft. After returning to the southwestern USA I decided that I would return to and stick with Southwest Bunnycraft, since over the years I had branched into making and retailing many Southwestern crafts and decor.

My love for nature shows up in my use of natural items in my crafts, especially the holiday ones. You'll find pinecones, dried flowers, wood, etc. throughout my creations.

As the former President of the Utah Statewide Archaeological Society (USAS), I have become very familiar with both the prehistoric and modern day Native American populations of the Southwest (Pueblo, Navajo, Apache, Ute) and I make many crafts that incorporate those cultures!

Southwest Bunnycraft--The seriously whimsical store with the funny Bunny name!  Shop with the bunny!
