Only because we have to ship with insurance and it is a $10.25 cost just for a fragile item. Then the shipping on top of that.we do take checks and money orders. However, they must be mailed the same day. So we can receive it within 7 days or less. Please make sure you put the transaction # on the check or money order. That between Banfield insurance their medications, their food, and treats, vitamins, Cosequin, we spend nearly $800 a month on them. Sometimes it's a lot more.
