Some Information About SilverGift

Giving you a little more insight into the seller.

I sell fine silver bullion at reasonable prices with various presentation options appropriate as gifts for all occasions.

I only sell silver coins – no bars and no other precious metals - and in particular, only UK minted bullion coins.  I believe that silver represents a good store of value that can be held onto and then sold as and when the need arises without inflation eroding it's value over time.  Silver has traditionally been used as a gift to mark various occasions for hundreds, if not thousands of years because of its beauty and rarity and because it is a material with an intrinsic and tangible value.

The reason I only sell bullions coins is because bullion focuses on the value of the precious metal and adds less of a premium to the price.  Bullion coins still have great designs and great detail but they are stamped (or struck) by machine to increase the volume that can be produced at lower cost.  Other types of coin such as Brilliant Uncirculated coins and Proof coins are struck by hand but cost a lot more money for the same weight of silver.

I also only sell UK minted coins because UK minted bullion coins have a face value which makes them legal tender.  That means that when you want to sell them, you don't have to pay any Capital Gains Tax on any profit that you make.

For me, fine silver is something I really believe in, it makes a great gift for kids - to start their own nest-egg for the future, to teach them value and to encourage them to save.  It's great for adults as well, especially in these times of greedy banks and governments that think printing more money will solve the economic issues.  Silver can't be printed; there's a finite amount of it.  That's why silver holds value whereas inflations eats away at paper money.

As you can see, I have a passion for silver.  Please visit my store and you will see why...
